Madelyn Cline Shines as New Face of Stella McCartney’s Animal Welfare Campaign
Actress Madelyn Cline, known for her role in the hit Netflix series Outer Banks, has been chosen as the latest face of eco-conscious fashion brand Stella McCartney. The 25-year-old star features in a new campaign that promotes the brand’s animal welfare message, with images shot at The Gentle Barn in California. The shoot aims to highlight the importance of protecting barnyard animals from cruelty, a cause that aligns with McCartney’s mission to support ethical and sustainable fashion. Cline’s own commitment to veganism and animal rights made her a natural fit for the campaign. The campaign’s theme, “Change the History,” was inspired by Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara, whose illustrations and social statements appear on some pieces in the Spring Summer ’23 collection. The collection, which is made using 91% responsible materials, is free from leather, fur, feathers, and exotic skins. In a statement, McCartney emphasized the importance of making ethical choices in fashion and food to protect the planet for future generations.
